The living quarters of Xin Chen Tao Yuan are not far from the practice area, only one kilometer, covering about 800 square meters, there are more than ten rooms and courtyards. Living area is divided into several sections: relaxation, dining area, practice area, tea area, and area to organize the daily needs of students. About sleeping conditions: the house has eight rooms, with high and low beds and comfortable, nice single rooms.

Wudang martial arts classes

All kinds of Wudang martial arts and traditional weapons, according to student′s interests the course content will be reasonable arranged.

Taoist healthcare classes

According to the physical condition of the students, the different health exercises will be practiced. Taoist health theory is based on evolution from Tai Ji Yin and Yang, including Qigong, Alchemy Practice, etc. This is a combination of static and dynamic exercises, the Dynamic exercises are able to strengthen bones and muscles, massage internal organs; the static exercise develop internal “Qi”, support the vital energy, and promote longevity.

The way of teaching

Master Xin Chen will teach Taijiquan Taiji Sword and another traditional martial arts by himself to make learning process really easy and interesting. The practice is not only for the healthcare and movement ability it creates balance and strengthen the concentration.

Academy is located in the heart of Wudang Mountain Scenic environment "rubbing needle well“ in the dense jungle, herbs, flowers, and songs of birds. Practitioners will "return to nature", and relax.

A bright variety of different possibilities, such as picking berries, finding wild herbs and herbal medicine in the mountains and farm work etc., makes every day very interesting and pleasant.

Possibility to practice Taoist Bigu (避谷) for Yang Sheng.

  • Bigu is a great method to clean your body from toxins, get more energy "QI", treat chronic diseases, and find a way to longevity.
  • Every practitioner will get a “Traditional Wudang Martial Arts Diploma” after finishing study in our Academy.
  • Participants can choose which sessions they will join: Either the healthcare program (Tacihi, Quigong, meditation)
  • or Kung Fu program

Sample program:

  • 5:00 Wake up
  • Running for Kung Fu program / Tai Chi or Qigong and meditation for healthcare program
  • 8:00 breakfast
  • 10:00 - 12:00 basic forms practice
  • 12:00 - 15:00 rest period
  • 15:00 - 18:00 basic forms practice, stretching, Qigong, Tai Chi OR kung fu (depends on the package)
  • 20:00 meditation or tea ceremony
  • 22:00 lights out
  • Students can also have Bigu sessions if they wish.

Together with the students the Academy organize individual or group excursions to the most beautiful temples and Taoist monasteries of Mount Wudang such as Purple Cloud Temple (built in 1119–26) or Nanyang Palace (built in 1285–1310). Every year they visit the temple on the "Golden Top", which is a great cleaning ritual for a body and soul of every martial arts practitioner.

Wudang Mountains "Rubbing needle well"

The “needle rubbing well” was built in the Kangxi years of Qing Dynasty (1662-1722), it covers an area of 5,000 square meters, and has 52 houses. It is surrounded with hills and green bamboos forests, known as famous resort where "bamboo moon wind and plum see each other ".

In China this old story is well known "once upon a time, the iron rod can grind to the needle!” in fact, this story took place here. According to legend, Jing Quo Prince got inspiration from Yuqing XuYuan Goddess to practice Taoism in Wudang Mountain, because his will was not strong enough, he returned to the common life, and on the way he met the "Grandmother Deity“( the embodiment of Auspicious Monarch). She reminded him to rub the needle with hard pestle at the well. He awoke and returned to his daily practice. Finally he come to be a successful, achieved the immortality, and turned to “Zhenwu” god of north.

“Grinding well palace” is located in the very beautiful place, is very quiet, and green everywhere; high foundation, full of sunshine, with "once upon a time, the iron rod can grind to the needle!" indeed, it is a great place to practice!

Master’s mother prepares three meals a day by herself; there are biological fruits and vegetables in the mountains. This is an authentic system of natural healthcare. Individual diets (vegan, vegetarian, kosher and others) are possible on request.

Breakfast with pasta, porridge, eggs, dishes; lunch and dinner with is prepared minimum of four main dishes and one soup, the main staple food with rice or pancakes. Daily supply of fruit and tea will be ensured.

Finding wild flowers and herbs, and making great photos and videos.

Learning chinese calligraphy, tea ceremony, traditional Taoist culture, basics of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Chinese language.
