The rooms at the Cliff House come in all different shapes and sizes which add to the charm of this jewel. You can have your own single or double room, or share if you prefer. The choice is yours.

Each room is individually designed, en-suite and named after the hotels' location and maritime heritage. After a full day of fitness activities, if you like the idea of falling asleep to the sound of the waves, this retreat is for you!


Barton on Sea close to Bournemouth is the perfect UK fitness beach getaway. This is no regular fitness retreat, You'll be practicing yoga on the beach at sunrise, sweating at boot camp and feeling the results of HIIT training. Although there will be lots of sweat, fun and relaxation are guaranteed!

HIIT Athletic and Power

HIIT is a 35-minute high-intensity interval training session designed to burn calories, reduce body fat, and tone. This science proven 35-minute work out improves cardiovascular fitness, speed, agilit, and challenges your fitness beyond your normal physical limits.

Revive - Yoga Inspired Workout

Set to cool beats, this 40-minute class improves your full body strength as well as flexibility, balance, and coordination. The fast flowing movements and use of resistance bands provide you with a great conditioning workout that also gets your heart rate up.

Although moderate intensity, you will certainly feel the burn in this workout.

Sunrise Coastal Walk - Barton on Sea to Milford

A great way to kickstart the day! This beautiful scenic trail is about three miles each way.

Enjoy stunning views of Christchurch Harbour, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight on clear days. Look out for the iconic British beach huts scattered along Milford Beach as you walk the cliff tops with breathtaking views of the bright blue sea.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

The best way to discover the beautiful coastline and cool down in the fresh waters. Be sure to bring your waterproof camera on this one to capture the best views!

Barton on Sea is home to this program. Just twenty minutes away from Bournemouth, two hours from London, and right on the edge of the New Forest, it's easily accessible. On their doorstep is seventeen miles of the beautiful British coastline and if you want to cool down in the waters after your workout, please do so!

The Cliff House certainly has a relaxed and chilled vibe, but they take food and hospitality very seriously! It is surrounded by enough outdoor space to keep you moving all day.

The long stretches of beach, green outdoor space and a fine selection of walks and trails provide you with the perfect environment for this workout break. When you want to take yourself off to explore, there's plenty to see in the local area!

You'll receive breakfast each morning and dinner for the majority of your program. This is because on your free afternoons and evenings, you'll be able to eat wherever you choose.

Arrival by airplane

If you're flying in to join Workout Away on this trip, Gatwick Airport (LGW) is the most convenient as it offers trains from the airport to the South Coast. It is best to catch the train to New Milton, which is just ten minutes from The Cliff House. From New Milton Station, you can grab a taxi which will take you just five minutes to reach them.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 16.94% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
