The above class schedule will run from Friday to Wednesday morning and until lunch. Wednesday afternoon and Thursday are free time for the student. WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy encourage the student to take in the local culture by visiting Wudang Mountain and the City of Wudangshan.

Styles / categories

Tai chi

Tai chi is an integrated aerobic metabolism and longevity exercise for the integration of guidance and boxing. It is soft, soothing, and fruity. It is a relaxation, a series of movement, and it pays attention to the balance of Yin and Yang and the cultivation of body and mind. It was proved to be the most suitable for people's physical fitness; longevity prolonging a sport.

With the development of society, the important role of tai chi health has been highly valued and accepted by people, which has gained obvious effect in practice.

Wudang kung fu

Wudang kung fu was founded by Zhang Sanfeng, a family of hundreds of families, and raised the family as one to make the truth of kung fu and the Taoist culture as its aim. Wudang kung fu is in the infinite tai chi, two meters as a whole.

It follows Taoism and Taoist philosophy theory as a guide, combined with Taoism medicine, Yi, Zhang Dan within the human body science and law, and the martial art with a strong healthy body together to pay attention to the human body meridian acupoints, to practice a good solid internal work foundation from the inside and outside of the gas into practice, and achieve the unity of kung fu.

Wudang kung fu discusses the law of the life activities from the essence, which is the brilliant crystallization of Wudang Taoism in the exploration of life.

  • Taiji 13: Taiji 13 is the original Taiji form developed by the legendary Shifu Zhang San Feng the father of Taiji. Taiji 13 was developed as a form of combat during the Tong Dynasty.
  • Taiji 28: Taiji 28 The action is short, smooth, and easy to learn and to practice. Taiji 28 is a commonly practiced form, in city squares and parks all over China.
  • Taiji 38: Taiji 38 is around and smooth style of Wudang Taiji. It is graceful and supple and is also widely practiced in the parks all over the country.
  • Wudang Taiji Sword: Wudang Taiji Sword is a clear, rhythmic, and gracefully soft form and yet there is plenty of momentum in this form of the sword.
  • Wudang Seven Star Sword: Wudang Seven Star Sword is a combination of concise moves that are mysterious and changeable. It promotes vigorous movements that are as soft as a cloud and as fluid as water.
  • Wudang Tai Yi: Wudang Tai Yi was also known as Xuanwu Boxing, is a combination of Speed a Grace. This form combines the hard and soft of Taiji Quan and Kung fu. It instills a concentration of hand and eye coordination with speed and strength.
  • Wudang Tai He: Wudang Tai He Quan is also known as Wudang Fu Hu Boxing. Where Tai Yi is an offensive form, Tai He is a defensive form. This form promotes stretching of the muscles, physical fitness and self-defense.
  • Wudang Bagua: Wudang Bagua promotes a combination of offensive and defensive tactics luring your opponent into a circle.
  • Wudang Tai Yi Wisk: Wudang Tai Yi Horse Wisk form is the essence of Taoist charm. A free, easy, and elegant form consisting of the promotion of hand and eye coordination, speed, and accuracy.
  • Wudang Yangqi Qigong: this is Wudang ancient biography of the Eight Paragraphs which consists of stretching and physical fitness. This form concentrates on breathing and self-cultivation of the mind and spirit. This form is excellent for treatment of the neck, shoulders, and back.
  • Wudang Five Elements Qigong: Wudang Five Elements Qigong corresponds to the five major organs of the body. Breathing and how people breath during this form is essential.

WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy profile

WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy is located in the Happy Valley of Tai Shan Temple in the special economic zone of Wudang Mountain. It was founded by the 15th generation of Wudang Senfeng schools. Wudang Happy Valley is adjacent to Lake Tai Chi which is quiet and tranquil; an excellent place to get away from the world.

WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy is located approximately five kilometers south of the City of Wudangshan on the banks of Lake Tai Chi in the province of Hubei. Here, you can adjust your body and cultivate your mind. You can learn about Wudang Taoist culture, experience Wudang Taoist lifestyle, pay respect to Wudang royal ashram, and study the theories of Laozi.

You can also enjoy the Qing Feng Ming Yue (refreshing wind and bright moon), see and hear the bird at play, smell the wonderful aroma of the native flowers, or you can swim in Lake Tai Chi. In such a beautiful environment, you can just feel the Qi entering your body, purifying your soul. Bath your body in nature and the sunlight and walk in the flowers and achieve harmony with nature.

Instructors

Shi He Zheng
Master Zheng Shi He is a 15th generation Shifu and has been training Kung Fu and Wudang Style Taiji since the age of 12. Shifu Zheng was trained by the legendary Grand Shifu Zhong Yunlong at the Purple Heaven Palace on Wudang Mountain. Master Zheng was the head instructor for Chen ShiXing here in Wudangshan and opened his current facility in 2015.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at to Shiyan Wudangshan Airport (WDS), and once you reach the airport, WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy can arrange an airport transfer to the school at free of charge. Please inform WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy your flight details to arrange the airport transfer.

Arrival by bus

If a student chooses to take a bus, they must arrive in Shiyan and then pick up bus 206 or bus 203 to Wudangshan. Get off at the main supermarket and call the school for pickup. Please note the public bus stops running from Shiyan to Wudangshan at 10:30 p.m. and starts at 6:30 a.m. daily and leaves every 30 minutes.

Arrival by train

If a student chooses to come by train they may depart from any of the major cities to Shiyan by high-speed train or normal train. It is possible to use the normal train directly to Wudangshan train station. WDS Shi He Gong Fu Guan Academy will pick the student up at that location as long as you provide them with an itinerary.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
