If you are looking to lose weight then this fitness holiday is ideal for you. It doesn’t focus specifically on weight loss - its more the result of everything that you do on the course. A lot of weight-loss specific courses focus on you eating very little and doing very gentle, basic training for 5 - 6 hours a day to try and give you spectacular weight loss at the end of the week. While this might sound great, it seldom leads to lasting improvements. Steve Coster Fitness does it differently. The focus is on high-intensity exercise (HIIT) that is enjoyable mixed with a healthy eating program that you can easily maintain when you go home.

Clients will have a private apartment that gives privacy and relaxation to enjoy after training.

Costa Adeje Gardens

This is a small and quiet complex. Guests have private apartments with a living room, kitchen facilities, bathroom, separate bedroom, and terrace. Wi-Fi is only available in the pool area and in the reception area. Reception is not serviced as these are private apartments. The apartment is ideally located as it is 5 minutes walk to the training center.

Program

Training will consist of 3 sessions per day. All of which will be done in the morning. This ensures people are not training in extreme heat in the middle of the day but also gives you “downtime” in the afternoon to spend at the beach.

Types of training

  • Beach fitness classes - These are done on the beautiful beach of Playa La Pinta. Bodyweight exercises, sprints, sandbags, resistance ropes and navy seals based training in the sea.
  • Cross training - Martial Arts based training. Boxing/Kickboxing, circuits, TRX, medicine balls.
  • Kettlebells
  • Krav Maga (self-defense training)
  • Hiking (Mount Teide - Spain’s highest volcano)

  • 07:30 - 08:30 Beach Bootcamp
  • 09:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
  • 10:00 - 11:00 Pad work (Boxing / Kickboxing)
  • 11:00 - 12:00 Krav Maga (Israeli Military self-defense)

Location

Steve Coster Fitness is situated in Costa Adeje, a lovely sunny tourist area in the south of Tenerife located within 30 minutes of beautiful beaches, lovely cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops.

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is part of Spain and is situated off the coast of Africa. Tenerife is known internationally for its warm and pleasant climate, as the “Island of Eternal Spring“. Warmer than mainland Europe in the winter and cooler in the summer. All of this means that it's a great place to be outside exercising year-round. Being outside on a fitness holiday boosts your energy levels and sense of well being. There are many other places in the world that have great climates too, but few of them are as easily accessible from the UK and Europe.

Food

On arrival, each guest will have breakfast stuff in their fridge including fresh fruit (melon, bananas, berries), eggs, bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, and Greek yogurt. This means each guest can prepare their own breakfast and eat it when it suits them.

Steve Coster Fitness is delighted to have teamed up with Chef Chris Phillips from EAT SMART in Tenerife. Chris is a very experienced chef who has worked at some of Tenerife’s most popular restaurants. Chris will prepare lunch and dinner and deliver it boxed up to your apartment so you can eat as and when you choose. It is not a buffet or set meal times. Each client has their own apartment and meals.

Vegetarian and vegan as well as any food allergies or intolerances can be catered to upon request.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 16.94% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
