The training takes place inside the Shaolin Temple. It is a Buddhist Temple served by monks and nuns. Students can take part in the Buddhist Ceremony every day in the morning at 5:30 a.m. and evening at 7:00 p.m. This class is optional but is part of Buddhist Education. Formal training starts at 8.30 a.m. in the Temple and ends at 9 p.m.. We offer 7 hours of training with authentic Shaolin monks. The timetable is very balanced and the teaching style follows the traditional way. There will be 3 sessions of training guided by the Shaolin masters.
Each student's goals are very important to the Temple and the training timetable will be adjusted accordingly. Kung Fu is part of life and nature, so the training is adjusted accordingly to follow the nature cycles. When a student arrives here and has no previous experience in Kung Fu, he/she is advised to follow for one week the timetable and decide what he/she likes best, so for the following weeks the student can focus only on the personal goals. For advanced students, the Temple tailors the timetable to follow their very specific goals. The program does not limit a student appetite for learning.
With the Shaolin Temple Yunnan, in one month you can learn up to 4 forms. One month is not enough for learning well, but you can go home after and continue your practice. You will become very good and master the forms you learned. The classes will be specifically done to fit your own body quality and fitness. Students who wish to train during the weekends are free to do so but will not be formal instruction from masters. You can use the Temple's equipment free of charge. If you think you wish to learn more, you can book extra classes. During the weekends, students have free time to rest or train more. The Temple also offers classes for families and children. This training type is also suitable for weight loss and improving the overall health condition.
