Working as a close protection agent is one of the most demanding jobs and therefore requires the best training available. Siras Academy provides training solutions for private security. Close Combat Area

  • It is a 300m2 Fully-equipped Close Combat area.
  • This area is used for cross training, Military Boot-camp, Muay Thai, self-defense, and boxing classes.
  • In the close combat area you will find a boxing ring, a small weight lifting and cross fit area, punching bags and all other equipment for close combat training.

Siras Academy Training Program

The close protection training at Siras Academy consists of Close Protection level 1-3. They also offer an Introduction Course for those who want to be sure if the industry is suited for them or not. The training progression will depend on the individual students previous experience in the security industry and other relevant background.

Therefore the training program will vary from student to student. Regardless of background and experience all students start their SIRAS close protection training with a Close Protection level 1+2 Course (14 day close protection course).

This ensures a high training level and the student will achieve the best results. During the course you can make a training plan for the future in cooperation with the instructors. The purpose of the training plan is to focus your effort in the right direction in order to achieve the type of job that you want.

Students with level 1+2 training can apply for Close Protection level 3. A low number of students on each course ensure our high quality and a maximum output for each student.

Operative security solutions

Siras Academy only conducts training. For all operational tasks, refer to Siras Group on To ensure that Siras Group always delivers the same high standard of security solutions, Siras Group only uses personnel trained through Siras Academy. Siras Group provides skilled services to protect businesses, company staff, and private individuals in problematic regions with different threat levels.

Realistic training

Siras Academy is internationally recognized for the use of hard but effective training methods. For many years, Siras Academy has proved that these special training methods make the students better able subsequently to solve operational tasks. With a mix of 25% theory and 75% practice, the students will practice and experience everything they learn in theory from the beginning. Siras Academy is known for delivering highly effective and realistic training. This require a lot from both the instructors as well as the students.

Admission requirements

  • The course is open to those with Close Protection Level 1 + 2, or similar experience
  • Minimum 18 years old, driving license, and no criminal record

Evaluation and diploma

Throughout the training courses, each student will be individually evaluated. Each night the instructors will evaluate the day's program and the individual student's performance. After each lesson there will be individual feedback so the student continually can improve his performance. Half way through the course there will be an individual interview between the instructors and the student. At this meeting the student will receive an evaluation and his performance is graded.

At the end of the course there will be a second interview where each student will receive his final grade. After the interviews there will be a ceremony where diplomas are handed out. To pass the course the student needs to get satisfactory results in all subjects. All students passing the course with honor will be offered a contract with Siras Group.

Requirements & Course preparation

The job as a bodyguard requires great physical and mental strength; therefore the admission requirements are generally rather strict. It is important to emphasize that the admission requirements to enter a Siras Academy course do not match the requirements that they demand from their fully trained professionals at Siras Group.
