While staying with Samui Fitness Retreat, you should have good amount of rest. Partnering up with accommodations that are close to all the workouts but also walking distance to the beach, you may benefit from their communal pools and spa facilities. Program

Fitness escape: Recovery and focused gains

This package is for beginners to fitness enthusiasts wanting to improve their total fitness and push their bodies to the limit. You will be coached by the currently fittest man in Ko Samui and owner Mike. You will learn new techniques and become a better all-round athlete. You will be training two to three times per day. Y will leave energized, learn new things about your body and have a great time with Mike and his community!

CrossFit: Full body transformation

If you're working out day after day and not seeing results, you may be doing the wrong program. Crossfit is the best way to switch it up. Made up of various movements that will strengthen your muscles, increase your endurance and improve your agility. It is a mixture of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio. CrossFit will produce the results you lacked before.

Strength and conditioning: Refine your body

No matter if you're recovering from an injury, or refining your existing muscle areas - Samui Fitness Retreat is here to get all of your muscles in top shape. With a varying schedule, you'll be focusing on all parts of your body - from the lower and upper body to very focused core exercises.

The Samui Fitness Retreat is made for people from all walks of life, with all kinds of different needs in their bodies. They'll make sure to address them properly and produce you with the right results. And the best part is: Not one work-out will feel repetitive - for months to come!

Total conditioning: Bootcamp burn

The Bootcamp burn is a HIIT class perfect for any fitness level. It is a total conditioning workout using minimal weight and technique and a lot of bodyweight movements. We go hard and fast, try to burn as many calories as possible!

This class includes air bike, rower, battle ropes, sled pushing, pushups, burpees. Samui Fitness Retreat's weightloss clients love these sessions. You'll love them, too!

Get fit on the beach: Workout sessions in paradise

The beach workouts are a great way to mix up your training, get some sun, and have some fun on Lamai Beach. Every Saturday morning will start with a beach run to warm up, followed by a 30-45 minute workout. You will be in and out of the water, swimming, using dumbells, kettlebells, slam balls, battle ropes and more. After a beach workout, the group usually has a coffee on the beach before beginning the rest of the day!

Muay Thai: Tradition meets fitness

Thailand is the home of Muay Thai - a traditional fighting sport that has been practiced for over 400 years. It's also a great way to transform your body in areas you haven't trained before. You will be coached by authentic traditional Thai coaches with over 100 fights of experience.

Running club: Learn how to enjoy running

In the run club class, you'll quickly learn the correct techniques for running long and short distances - with distances varying based on skill level. Your coach takes you through the jungles and back streets of Koh Samui. A class that teaches you how to enjoy running!

Yoga: Connect with your body

With all the hard work, you will put your body through while training with Samui Fitness Retreat. They believe in yoga being an amazing recovery tool. Slowing down is important when recovering your body, and the yoga sessions will help you with that. Great for soreness, loosening up tight muscles and joints. And an amazing way to improve your mobility.

Hiking: Nature awaits

Experience all that Koh Samui has to offer. That is what makes the Koh Samui hike classes so great! You will explore different sites around Koh Samui, visit hidden temples and hike up to the highest parts of the island! Amazing views guaranteed.

Nutrition: Your intake controls your body

It's found, time and time again, that what we eat defines how our body behaves. That’s why Samui Fitness Retreat will be coaching you on your daily nutritional intake. Instead of short-lived diets, you'll focus on long-term dietary changes. By getting your body's nutritional intake in order, your coach will make sure that your changes are going to last for a long time.

Location

Samui Fitness Retreat is located on the beautiful tropical island of Koh Samui, in the bay of Thailand. Lamai is the second biggest beach on Ko Samui, and not as wild as Chaweng. It has a good mix of locals and ex-pats living here, blended in between resorts and sea-side localities.

Food

During your retreat, you will be served three daily meals from Monday to Saturday. Vegetarian meals are available on request.

Food-wise it doesn't matter if you like Thai food or not, there are a lot of options in Koh Samui from Italian Restaurants, French wine bars, Australian foods, meat buffets, to Indian food, many vegan restaurants, etc. It's really hard to not find something to your taste on Ko Samui!

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flights to arrive at Samui Airport (USM). Transfer from and to this airport is included in the price. Samui Fitness Retreat will pick you up at the airport.

You can find direct flights from many destinations, such as Singapore and Hong Kong. If you're coming from further away, it's usually a connecting flight through Bangkok, Phuket or Singapore that will get you safely on the island!

For backpackers, there are also bus and ferry possibilities. If you're coming from Bangkok, you take the bus to Cha-Am (close to Hua Hin), and then the ferry will bring you there, stopping first in Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.

You can also fly into Surat Thani International Airport (URT) or Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport (NST) and take the bus and ferry offers from airlines such as Air Asia and Nok Air.
