The program is designed to make you a well-rounded martial artist or athlete. Each day, you will focus on a different area of the martial arts in order to give your brain and body new experiences and time to grow and learn. This is a very limited program and you need to register now so you can be scheduled in.

Most members will be joining the program for training in the martial science or modern Ninjutsu. Since this is the first goal, it is important to meet all students expectations. In order to do this, you will learn about all areas of the martial arts. This will include a variety of training and philosophies. The martial science or Ninjutsu is a combination of effective, usable principles that makes it into an elite system. This program is available for beginning to advanced students and adventurers alike, no matter what your previous martial arts background is. The basic techniques of Tew’s martial science encompass a wide range of activities and instruction that are both realistic and effective. Body movements, punches, kicks, rolls, and falls are all integral components of hand-to-hand combat. There are five levels to the instructor status. Each level includes two skills from the following nine areas of focus: stances, rolls, falls, strikes, kicks, body movement, knowledge, combat and self-defense strategies, and weapons. This is a martial science and a way of life. Its strength is based on the student having an open mind. You, as the student, will train in many different areas, techniques, and fields under the guidance of mind, body, and spirit. The training you will endure is a vehicle to achieving an improved self-worth.

Even though training in the martial arts offers a high level of joy and excitement, you also need focused mental growth. One of the ways that this focus and growth are provided is through a system Rick Tew has developed and calls Winjitsu, the mental martial art. In the martial arts, you learn self-defense to help prepare yourself for a situation that might be required for survival. In today’s world, with the challenges being more mental than physical, you are indeed your own worst enemy. In this day and age, your mental skills will take you a lot further than your physical skills. You are going to learn how to reach your full potential and how to be a black belt in what you do. This area of mental training will focus on all the information available today that will help you become the best you can be. Mr. Tew suggests you learn about balance, mind control, physiology, and the neurosciences. Everything you need to know to gain control of your life and to build self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline, self-power, self-control, and self-image. Winjitsu also teaches you how to overcome fear, doubt, negativity, stress, and laziness.

Here, spirit is referred to as life-spirit, which means spending quality time with others in the great outdoors. Being part of the NinjaGym program is a lot more than just learning the martial arts. You are encouraged to get together for adventures that include hiking, camping, climbing, travel, multiple terrain training, and more. A large part of the martial science is devoted to the outdoors and outdoor activities. As children, one spends a lot of time exploring and discovering. The goal is to recapture and maintain that healthy attitude. Life should include fun and games, regular adventures, and new experiences that combine both the world and humanity. Rock climbing offers a challenge and opportunities for working as a team. This challenge is the healthiest form of competition. You are competing with yourself, not other people. One of the great things about rock climbing is it truly allows for living in the moment. When you are on the side of a rock face, your focus in on exactly what is happening right then and there. It is truly an enlightening experience. No outdoor adventure program is complete without a moderate amount of hiking and camping. Although camping will be included on a number of other activities, the traditional hike-camp-hike-camp strategy will also be implemented. Some locations of interest will be designated for the group to hike to. The difficulty of each hike will vary in order to include all levels of skill and develop your abilities in an outdoor setting. There may also be a number of other activities, such as basketball, grape ball, volleyball, swimming, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, picnics, and parties. All activities provide a little adventure and no two programs are the same. The word adventure is used to describe this lifestyle, it means growth, challenge, confidence, discovery, exploration, travel, youthfulness, goals, living naturally, and being happy. You may begin to understand that adventure is not just a word, but something far more spiritual. If you have the adventure spirit, you will feel right at home with this program. The purpose of this program is to get out and explore with a group while developing life skills through training in the martial arts. Since the focus is on the martial arts, you will be expected to work on adventure trips with other members.

Every weekend we go on an Adventure Trip in Yosemite National Park. Hiking, climbing, camping, rappelling, outdoor survival, we do it all. Do not miss out on the Adventure Upgrade!

"I am a 6th degree Black Belt in Karate and a 7 year undefeated champion of Europe, now I am an M.D., acupuncturist, author and lecturer. I have known Rick Tew for 20 years, he was one of my instructors and sparring partners. He is top of the charts in dedication, motivation and inspiration. Training with him is life changing and profound. I would recommend him over everyone else because of his diversity and mastery of the spirit of Martial Arts. He is also a gifted and impressive speaker and can mesmerize any crowd with his speeches. Words are not good enough to describe this man. Experience him"

"I’m certain that if you attend you would have learned and realized useful things that would affect your over all quality and level of success in life. You will have learned how to get over your fears, learned to face challenges , you would have learned how to become more of a leader. CMS produces which means that although the students may come here starting at ground zero – if they simply choose not to quit, not to give up on themselves, they will eventually get there."

"Its a chance of a lifetime to get away from all the stresses of life and focus everything that you have, on your training and self improvement. What I like the most is the variety of the system which involves everyday life training with how to be healthy in mind, body, spirit and nutrition."

    • Review by Richard Nelson from Texas, USA

"The only thing I think I could really have to add to all of this is that CMS is an Adventure in life. You might only get so many invitations to take such an adventure when you’re young before you get caught up in the struggle of life as it is today. For me, CMS was a childhood dream to be a Ninja. Other people probably can relate to this, because Gen X grew up in the 80’s which was the king domain of Ninja’s being glorified thru multimedia. Because your focus determines your reality in life. If you choose to focus on the bad parts, then that is all you will see. But if you take those small nuggets that are just pure fun, happiness, and love…roll them into one big image of what you want, and focus on it.That is what you’ll see no matter where you are."

"Inspiring, dedicated, enlightened and real all come to mind when I think of Rick Tew. His work ethic is first rate and his commitment to live fully and truthfully is contagious. But even more important than any of the above, his loyalty and support as a friend is incomparable."

"I can vouch that Rick really does what he preaches, he walks the talk rather than talks the talk. He is very congruent in what he says and passionate as a result because he has actually lived it. He has a genuine energy about him, and that energy definitely comes from a place of contribution and creating value for others."

"I’ve worked with Rick Tew on and off for a few years now. To this day, I am still amazed at his ability to motivate others to take action toward their individual goals without losing sight of the team’s goals. This in my opinion, makes Mr. Tew such a dynamic and effective leader. I’ve personally witness how he has used his talents in the Martial Arts to not just define his life, but to enrich it and those around him. Mr. Tew has created personal development courses based off his unique experiences and most importantly, these courses are able to be modified to the individual. This to be a very rare trait to find nowadays."

"Most of my Mind Body Spirit learning took place when I began reading Rick Tew’s articles on his web site. I have learned mental conditioning and mind-body anchoring techniques that I have been using since. I learned to be in total control of my emotions whether I wanted to be happy or depressed. Many of my spiritual qualities were strengthened during CMS as my mind and body were being conditioned."

"There’s more to this experience than just martial arts. An equal part of the program helping you to see the areas in which your attitudes are negative or thoughts are inflexible or closed. Be ready for having these things subtly brought to light. For those unprepared, it can be unnerving. For those willing to grow and change, it’s encouraging."

"Go for it! Don’t let anyone hold you back from doing what you want to do with your life! Attending CMS is the adventure of a lifetime, so if you think you have what it takes, just do it! You’ll be happy you did. I experienced more than any normal person should in 2 months. I was tested both physically and mentally. I experienced some pretty serious martial arts training."

    • Review by Walid M

"I think from my perspective as a student taking private lessons it is intense. We train daily for couple of hours, usually 3 to 5 in addition of course to practice I do on my own to mentally and physically reflect for the next day. Weekends are off but again we could practice outdoor sometimes in them. So, there is also flexibility to the program. Usually,"

"every lesson there is something new, if not more than one thing, that I have learned."

"Training follows a systematic organized approach, starting off with stances, following into falls, rolls, strikes and punches, kicks and ending with weapons. Sometimes we may shake things up a little depending on the day and the flow of training. So, generally I never find myself bored even though I am training privately. It is actually feeling very intense and focused in this way to perfect every move as much as possible in such short time available."

"For every lesson also, we make a video recording of it for Home Study Program, to support my learning after class, but even after the entire training period here in Bangkok. This is very useful as at anytime I can log in my account and look at myself and memic Sensei Rick's body movement or adhere to the movement I already do in case I have executed it correctly in the video."

"As a person who is doing his PhD in behavioral studies and psychology, as well as having completed several training camps in Europe, I could attest that the training I am having here is truly positively challenging in all ways for one to master skills, knowledge and mindset growth in such short period of time - and then only with practice that perfection comes."

    • Review by Kris Butler from Canada

"Mentally, I learned that there are many different ways of thinking and a strong result of those thoughts are your action and success. Much of what you get out life and what life is going to offer you is dependent on how you think. "

"Physically, I have learned more than I can put into this response. I suppose to sum it up. I can do things with my body that I never new I could do. I have surprised and surpassed my own expectations many times over. The best part is that the learning never stops and there is always a new level reach and to kick your butt and make you want more. "

"Spiritually, I have had the chance to be a part of something much bigger than myself. I have been and continue to be a part of a team of people that are dedicated to human development and to getting more out of their lives and themselves. "
