"I trained at RMT for 4 weeks and it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the day you enter the door the team is beyond welcoming, catering for people of all skill sets (I'd never ever done Muay Thai before, and felt super comfortable and not intimidated). "

    ""

"The private sessions an excellent way to learn new skills or improve on existing ones, the trainers are encouraging but also push you hard (I trained with Hin, who was friendly, skilled and a pleasure to train with). "

    ""

"The group glasses which run at 8am and 4pm are a warm, intimate environment where you quickly get to know everyone (unlike some of the other big gyms around). "

    ""

"The classes give you a good balance of trainer pad work and other exercises that really get you sweating. The gym often has students who fight, and organize transport to and from the fights, which is an amazing local experience, something you'll not experience anywhere else. "

    ""

"I can't say better things about Rattachai, it might not be on the "main" street, but it's the best place by far to train. Thank you to Kru Nai, Nit and team for being so welcoming, we'll no doubt be back very soon."

"I trained at Rattachai for x3 days, twice in a beginner class and one private session. I have some boxing experience but not Muay Thai. Rattachai is absolutely fantastic. "

    ""

"First, the trainers are friendly, good humored, patient and encouraging. You will get a lot of personal attention and feedback- and be prepared to work bloody hard. Some have better English than others but generally far superior to other Muay Thai gyms I attended in Thailand. Also, the lady on reception and who answers emails has excellent English and is very responsive on email."

    ""

"Second the facilities are excellent. They are reasonably clean compared to others I attended, as well as safe equipment in good condition."

    ""

"Third, this gym is fine for females and beginners (as well as advanced). As a single female I was a bit nervous but was immediately put at ease. The first group class I attended was majority female. The other people that day had come from Tiger the previous day but found it way too commercial."

    ""

"Overall, this gym has a great family atmosphere, while still providing a professional and highly challenging workout. Others I attended in Thailand were very lacking in facilities, had trainers who wasted a lot of time and just mucked around and spoke no English, had too many participants compared to trainers, had old unsafe equipment, lacked structure to their training, and provided no coaching. Rattachai was the complete opposite and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I look forward to coming back!"

"Having never done Muay Thai before, I was a little nervous about heading to this gym. 2 weeks on, I'm so glad I did. The team at Rattachai are really great and attentive. They're very focused on technique and will ensure you get things right. In the group classes there is generally about 1 trainer to every 2 students which means you get lots of their time and help. I never went to Tiger Muay Thai but this is miles better than what I heard about the classes there."

"I did both group sessions every second day (4 hours of training per day) as I wanted to try out some of the other classes at Unit 27. This worked really well for me and was still really good value as you can just rock up and pay only 500 bhat (about £11) for any day you want to train with Rattachai. That's excellent value for the 4 hours of training and instruction you get."

"Highly recommend giving this place a go, great staff, great value and it will sure as hell get you fit!"

"Kru Nai(Rattachai) 3x Lumpinee Champion, is humble and friendly and teaches good techniques. Gym is away from the overcrowded Ta-eid street, the training is slightly tougher but well worth the $"

"I have spend almost three Weeks at the Rattachai Gym. The two core value hanging from the wall at the gym “Family atmosphere” and “World-class Trainers” sums up my experience. It is a big promise and the Rattachai Team delivers on these promises each and every day. I feel great respect for the dedication to the sports and the genuine interests to support the learning progress of each and every student. In a world of commodification, and commercialization such places are rare to be found and therefore to be appreciated even more. I wish the family and the trainers all the best for their private and professional endeavors and hope to come back soon."

"I am an amateur practitioner of Muay Thai. Been doing it for 3 years and I have tried many gyms in Bangkok, Phuket, and Cambodia. Rattachai is, hands down, the best gym I have ever been at. The trainers are super attentive at your technique, will make you repeat a move till you are good at it, and wont just tell you "good good" like in other gyms. Forget the super crowded classes at Tiger Muay Thai, which is basically a glorified fat camp and money machine. Rattachai is different. It is a small but top class operation. The training routine is varied and interesting. Sparring focuses on technique and you get a lot of advice during and between bouts. Finally, everybody is super nice. I will be coming back any time I can."

"Booked 2 hours as a special birthday surprise for my partner for his 40th. Before even attending I had the most helpful person, Nit, assisting with organising. Any hiccups were met with flexibility, professionalism and friendliness. On the day we met the team. This family run business is literally the best. The workout was fabulous and well explained. The trainers are all Muay Thai champions. We will be visiting again next year and looking forward to it. A big thank you from Muhammad (Mo) & Bronwynn."

"I've been lucky enough to train at Tiger, Top Team and Dragon on the more famous Soi Taed Road (one block over), but Rattachai was a brilliant suggestion and a wonderful surprise! It's a small family-run gym owned and operated by Kru Nai, a Lumpini champion and a former Tiger-instructor who is very highly respected in the fighter community. "

    ""

"This gym excels in a way others do not - you get 1-on-1 technical instruction and a good balance of cardio and sparring in a typical 2-hour class you just can't find at the other gyms. It's smaller and very basic compared to the flashier gyms but Kru Nai and his team of instructors are phenomenally talented and really prioritize the learning of each individual in the sessions, i.e. they cater to your level from beginner to seriously advanced. "

    ""

"If you want to fight, no problem. They'll assess your level, make the appropriate recommendations and help you set up a fight. If you just want to learn, also no issue. I found a great deal of support and technical advice on how to improve my game. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I learned more in a month at Rattachai than I did doing 2 months at Tiger. It's just a different level of focus and because they're smaller, you really do matter as a client. You're not just another foreigner. "

    ""

"A month is 9,000 Baht at 2 classes per day (morning and afternoon = 4 hours). If that's too hard core or if you're managing an injury, then go back down to 1 class per day for 5,000 Baht per month. Either way, that's a crazy good deal compared to the prices you'll get on the Soi."

"I visited Phuket and wanted to train while I was there. I went to about 5 different places and when I got here I felt like I was family. The trainers, Hin, Prai, and Owner Kru are amazing people. Hin and Prai went out of their way to take us to the fights the first night and then trained the next day again. I will go back next year and train with them again!"

"If you want a great experience from experienced people, then this is your place!"
