Por Silaphai Thai Boxing Gym's Muay Thai camp offers various courses to suit your desire and stamina, from beginners to professional fighters, in a friendly and warm welcome atmosphere. They do not offer you only training, but also a real experience of Muay Thai fight at their local Thai boxing arena, if you want to test your skill. Por Silaphai Thai Boxing Gym has been a legally registered Muay Thai camp under the Sport Authority of Thailand since 2012. The owner, Mr. Prasit Silaphai, is a certified Muay Thai C-License trainer and recognized by the Board of Boxing Sport of Thailand. The camp is one of the highly standard, reliable and legitimate Muay Thai camps in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Por Silaphaigym has a boxing lodge at their new location, just 2 minutes walking distance from the gym and in a very convenient location, above the 7/11 convenience store. It's next to the local fresh market, restaurants, shops, pharmacy, laundry service, and with easy access to the old city and night market.
The lodge has two double rooms, one twin room and one dorm room (with 4 beds) with A/C, free Wifi and shared bathrooms (between two rooms on each floor). The prices do not include the power and water bill. There is a common room on the third floor with dining area (microwave, fridge). The rooms require advance booking. If you prefer to stay somewhere else, there are plenty of hostels and hotels in the area.
If you are just starting with Muay Thai or you are doing it as a hobby or to stay fit, we will teach you all the basics needed. You will work with a partner and with a trainer to learn how to use the techniques. You will work on the pads, punching bag, do light sparring, and do exercises for strength and stamina until you have a good basic knowledge about Muay Thai. If you are making big efforts you can also advance to the professional group.

The gym has any facilities you need for training. They have a real ring 6 x 6 meters, 6 sandbags, and fitness equipment. There are also 2 showers and 2 toilets.
Mr. Prasit Silaphai, or Khrue Sith, is the owner /manager and trainer at the gym. He graduated in Sport Science from Institute of Physical Education Chumporn. He came from Suratthani province, Southern Thailand. He has lots of sport teaching experience and he loves Muay Thai so much, which is the reason why he opened this Muay Thai gym in 2013. With his teaching skill, it will be fun and easy to learn the art of Thai boxing. Mr. Prasit is a cerified Muay Thai C-license trainer and legally recognized by the Board of Boxing Sport of Thailand.
Mr. Sanit Smar or Krue Moo is a fantastic and highly experienced trainer. He was a trainer at Por Pramuk Muay Thai camp and trained Boa Khow when he was with that camp. Since then he has traveled around the world and trained Muay Thai at several gyms. Por Silaphai are so grateful that he is now with the gym and they believe that every customer will have a wonderful experience training with him. Khrue Moo is also certified in C-license Khure Muay Thai.
Por Silaphaigym's new camp is about 5 minutes from the Chaing Mai gate (South gate) of the old city or just 10 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport. It may be in the city area but it is still private, not crowded, with open air and fully equipped with all facilities for every students. There is a nice and cozy cafe next to the gym, to relax and enjoy the gym atmosphere after finishing training.

Por Silaphaigym offers two meals a day, mainly Thai food, after training in the morning and dinner at 19.30-20.00. The price for one day is 130 THB.
