Located in the same complex above Origin Yoga & Wellness' yoga space is the guest residence. Guests can enjoy comfortable shared or private accommodation with stunning panoramic ocean view. Origin Yoga & Wellness can accommodate up to eight guests with two levels of open space, elegantly designed rooms, lounge areas, small kitchen and floor to ceiling windows with lots of natural sunlight.
The place features different styles of accommodation making it easy to find the style that fits you best. Choice of beach front shared or private accommodation is available. What makes Origin Yoga & Wellness most special is that their yoga space is hidden inside a rustic building by the ocean that's been abandoned for more than 40 years. The exterior of the building may not be pretty but when you step inside, it is a secluded heaven with a stunning panoramic ocean view that brings peace and joy to your heart.
The Ocean Room features four single beds with ocean view, walk-in closet, private bathtub and shower. The Sky Room features two single beds with ocean view, small balcony and private shower. Moreover, the Sapphire Room features one double bed with ocean view, walk-in closet and private shower.

This yoga and Jiu-Jitsu retreat includes two private guided cultural excursions to local attractions and one relaxation visit to hot spring. Depending on the season and weather, local attraction may vary from hiking to waterfall, mindfulness walk along cherry blossom trail, tour of a monastery on the mountain or sampling the culinary delights of old town.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Patanjali International Yoga Foundation)
Lydia Chang is the co-founder, creative director and principal teacher for the regularly scheduled weekend retreat and signature yoga vacation at Origin Yoga & Wellness. In 2014, she traveled to India and completed the 200-hours Yoga Alliance teacher training with Patanjali International Yoga Foundation. She dedicated herself ever since to the practice, study and teaching of yoga. While rooted in classical Hatha yoga, Lydia continued to deepen her practice and expand the scope of her studies in Ashtanga and Ayurveda yoga.
Professor Lin is a guest teacher at Origin Yoga & Wellness. Professor Lin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Black Belt and lifelong martial artist with over 29 years of experience. Having competed successfully in Canada and the USA at the national and international level, Professor Lin combines his experience as an athlete and competitor with his passion for sharing an art he truly loves with his students. He is respected as one of the best, most technical and accomplished BJJ instructors in Canada. He has consistently produced successful local, national and world champions.
This retreat takes place at the most northern tip of Taiwan that is reachable by car from Taipei in less than one-half hours, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The northern coastal region is complete with beautiful beaches, natural hot springs, lush green forests, mountain temples, traditional farms, Sakura plantations, cycling trails, surfing and other water activities.

Origin Yoga & Wellness' dedicated chef uses seasonal, locally sourced, organic and minimally processed whole foods wherever possible. Their produce is hand-selected from farmers they know and partners they trust to guarantee quality. All meals are thoughtfully designed to provide a balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat as well as a complete array of vitamins and minerals.

Origin Yoga & Wellness is happy to arrange round trip transfer by car to and from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). This service cost an additional 110 USD or 3,370 TWD. The transportation is a car and seats up to four people.
You can take the MRT Red Line to Tamsui Station. Please take exit 2. After exiting the station, you can proceed to the bus waiting area right outside of the station and board buses number 862, 863 or 865. Please get off the bus at the De Mao which is one stop past Baishawan. The buses are available approximately every 30 minutes. However, the bus journey may take up to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Please be sure to check the electronic signs by the bus waiting areas for boarding times.
Origin Yoga & Wellness is happy to arrange round trip transfer by car to and from MRT Tamsui Station. This service cost an additional 40 USD or 1,200 TWD from Tamsui Station. The transportation is a car and seats up to four people.
