Join this experience on a warm Mediterranean island for a retreat where you will not only change up your routine but will be given expert training to improve your technique as well as tailored yoga sessions to better your flexibility, breathing, concentration, and balance specifically for Brazilian Jiujitsu fighters. Taking place on Menorca island in the Balearic Islands of Spain, this retreat offers a charming and laid back environment for training.
You will be staying in a lovely Menorcan rustic farmhouse Matxani Gran, in San Clement. You will enjoy the essence of Menorcan countryside as you enter into a rustic work by the line country lane, with lovely gardens, and the farm's home-grown fruits and vegetables. The farms lambs and two burritos (donkeys) Jordi and Consuelo grazing in the field will transport you to another time. The farmhouse has an outdoor jacuzzi, a swimming pool, splendid gardens, free Wi-Fi, and pool table. You can choose a single room, a double shared room, or a triple shared room.
During this retreat, you will enjoy a mix of training, time to unwind, and to discover the hidden crystal water coves, and beaches. Take this opportunity to dive head first into your training and immerse yourself in this experience with like-minded practitioners while at the same time enjoying the summer island. During the seven days of the retreat, you will have the opportunity to train in yoga and Brazilian Jiujitsu techniques, enjoy the beach, water activities, and explore the local culture.
The objective is to give participants full immersion into yoga and Brazilian Jiujitsu for all levels, develop and improve your flexibility, breathing, and concentration through yoga and getting fit with Brazilian Jiujitsu while enjoying island living, relax, explore the island's culture, beaches, and secret coves of crystal waters. There will be a day out to the beach and picnic.
Brazilian Jiujitsu is a martial art that teaches a smaller person how to defend himself or herself against a larger adversary by using leverage and proper technique. Based on Judo and traditional Jiujitsu, the art is a self-defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. This art form is also very useful for women looking to learn self-defense.

Spend a morning strolling around the elegant towns of Ciutadella and Mahón at opposite ends of the island, then kick back at a harbor side table to devour a platter of shellfish. No one is ever in a rush in Menorca.You can also book a private yoga session or Brazilian Jiujitsu coaching, enjoy a massage, explore the island culture, picnic by the beach, or simply relax by the pool.
One-hour full body Thai massage is included in the price of the retreat. Additional massages can be included upon request for an extra fee.
Please book your flight to arrive at Menorca Airport (MAH). EasyJet has seasonal flights from Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, Liverpool, and Newcastle. Spanair and Vueling offer low-cost connections with Madrid and Barcelona.
Menorca Airport (MAH) is located just 20 minutes from the centre of Maó; there are buses from the town and back, as well as a taxi stand. The taxi journey costs around 15 EUR.
You can take the fast ferry for about three hours or the slow ferry for about eight hours from Barcelona to Maó or Ciutadella; there are also ferries from Mallorca.
