Nongnapat Muay Thai

Nongnapat Muay Thai is the newest Muay Thai camp to be built in Phuket and is the only gym on the island that can claim to be the first training facility that has the beach as its very own front yard. From the brand new rings, bags, pads and flooring, the gym is built to be clean and hygienic to avoid any illness or un-wanted germs being spread.

When it comes to the actual training, Nongnapat Muay Thai has gone out of its way to source and employ some of the best trainers in the business, all with multiple titles and fights under their belt. The training style here is of a traditional type unlike most other commercialized gyms that have grown to have more of a western style influence on the training.

We offer courses from beginners that have never tried muay thai before to advanced students that have trained muay Thai for years, even students that want to sharpen their skills in preparation for an upcoming fight. We also offer VIP training working one on one with one of our professional trainers, which can give you the most to experience.

We also provide a holiday packages to those that want to experience as much of Phuket as they can. Phuket is a world famous tourist destination, so customers that want to experience both Muay Thai, tourist attraction, and traditional Thai cultures, this can all be organized through our gym.

Set in the lush tropics on the island of Phuket, Thailand, Nongnapat Muay Thai is situated in the far south of the island in a small community named Rawai. Rawai is famous and well known for being a fishing village and fresh seafood that can be purchased at any restaurant at any time of the day, guaranteed to be fresh as it was most likely caught that day.

From the clear blue turquoise waters right at our door step to the vibrant smells of authentic Thai cooking, massage parlors to rub out all those sore spots from training, Nongnapat Muay Thai really is the place to train if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere on your time off. The area also has some of the best local attractions Phuket has to offer all within a short tuk tuk or scooter ride.

Nongnapat Muaythai is located on Viset Road, Rawai Beach. Our gym is the newest Muay Thai camp to be built here in Rawai and is by far the best as far as location goes as it directly across the road from the iconic Rawai beach where you will find hotels, restaurants, banks, mini marts, massage parlors, tour agencies, taxi services, and motorbike/car rentals are within a short walking distance.

Chocolate bar

At Chocolate Bar, you can get fresh juices or shakes at a reasonable price, delightful Thai / European food and fresh seafood. A cup of coffee or tea during tea break would be great too with a nice beach view from the restaurant. Chocolate Bar offer cheap breakfast, like an American breakfast with eggs, ham, bacon, sausage and toast, orange juice, tea or fresh coffee, just for 120 baht. The restaurant open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

Naiharn beach

Naiharn beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches here in Phuket, with its crystal clear water, white sand as far as the eye can see, its definitely the best place to go and relax after a hard training session or on your day off. This is only one of the many beautiful beaches that are within 5km from our gym, just ask one of our friendly staff and they will point you in the right direction.

Sabai massage

Within walking distance, 20 meters away from the gym there is Sabai Massage where you can experience the traditional Thai massage, this includes oil massage, foot massage, hot stone massage, pedicure, and manicure. It's all clean and quiet with lovely staffs working there, both male and female therapist available.

Testimonials

  • Review by a traveler from Almere, The Netherlands

"When I was in Phuket, I wanted to experience Muay Thai Training. I've been doing kickboxing for some time. So why not to try Muay Thai? And especially in its country of origin. I came across Nongnapat Muaythai, it was a small gym. Not too many customers and great trainers, who takes their job serious. During that time I learn a lot from those trainers, plus when I go back, I was fitter than ever. Aside from the positive feedback on the training, the location is perfect as well. across the beach, nice and clean accommodation (with a pool!) and with many nice restaurants nearby. "
