If you are seeking proven technique instruction as well as a season’s worth of matches in one week, team camp is for you. It is a unique opportunity to unify your team during the off-season through learning expert instruction and fighting through great competition. One-on-one instruction is given to address each team’s needs. Test your team’s current development against other teams from every region in the country!
Resident campers will be housed in an air-conditioned university residence hall within walking distance to the camp practice facility. Each room has two beds. Due to fire code, only two people per room are allowed. It is impossible to provide on-campus housing to anyone other than registered resident campers. Accommodation for resident campers will be provided only for the dates that the camp is in session. Mark Cody Wrestling Camps will not be able to accommodate campers that arrive early or stay late.
Mark Cody Wrestling Camps are the best the country has to offer because they are designed with the complete wrestler in mind. World class instruction will be given by clinicians who have competed and won on the National, World, and Olympic stages.
Mark Cody Wrestling Camps focus on every aspect of mat wrestling, as well as strength and conditioning, nutrition, sportsmanship, and a winning lifestyle off the mat. They teach what is needed to become a champion both on and off the mat.
Their camps are constructed with a hands-on approach to teaching every aspect of the sport. Wrestlers of all ages and experience are welcome and encouraged to participate in high-paced and competitive atmosphere. The goal is that every camper leaves a better competitor both mentally and physically than when they arrive.
Training sessions will be held on the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, located 18 miles south of Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City is accessible by several interstate highways, by Will Rogers World Airport, or by bus into the Oklahoma City bus terminal.
For resident campers, all meals will be served cafeteria style in the university cafeteria. The camp offers an all-you-can-eat meal plan. There will be a total of eight meals provided for each camper beginning with dinner on the first day of camp and ending with breakfast on the last day of camp.
Additionally, campers will have the opportunity to purchase pizza after the evening practice session. This is an optional purchase and is not included in the camp tuition. Campers that choose to buy pizza will pay when they order after each evening practice. This purchase will be cash only and cannot be paid in advance.
