Lookprabat Muay Thai Camp

The founder

Lookprabat Muay Thai was opened 30 years ago by Mr. Noi Wuttisopakorn, a prominent figure in Pra Phuttabat. It is considered to be one of the oldest Muay Thai Camps in Thailand. When Lookprabat gym was opened, Mr. Noi was able to help people who had no job or a place to stay by bringing them into his camp.

Mr. Noi helped them became boxers and were able to make a living and support themselves and their families. Some of them became known as champions in the art of Muay Thai. Aside from that, Mr. Noi would also invite and encourage children to come and train in Lookprabat Muay Thai during their school break. He would teach the children the art of Muay Thai and also help keep them off the streets.

Continuing the legend

Before Mr. Noi Wuttisopakorn passed away in 2005, he has passed the ownership of the camp to his son, Mr. Pracha Wuttisopakorn, who in turn continued to keep Lookprabat Muay Thai running the same way as his father did. Nowadays, Lookprabat Muay Thai Camp is known for producing many Muay Thai champions, and is still known to continue producing known champions and top fighters in Thailand.

Because of this, Muay Thai fans and the Thai media recognizes Lookprabat Muay Thai Camp as one of Thailands top training camps with Lookprabat Muay Thai Camps specialty as having a strong clinch and knee technique. Lookprabat Muay Thai is also a two time receiver of the Best Muay Thai camp in a row in the year 2007 and 2008 which was awarded by Lumpinee Stadium, the Sports Autority of Thailand, and the Sports Writers Association of Thailand.
