About the training, some words from Amit Porat:

I am pleased to welcome you to our flagship training camp in Israel.

The combination of Krav Maga training and excursions in Israel is a project that has been going on in the various Krav Maga organizations for 20 years. There are 4-5 organizations that run the program in one way or another.

In the field of martial arts, it is customary to come to the country of origin and to train in the style of that country, it exists in every martial art in the world. We Israelis are very patriotic regarding our country and we have a calling to make every tourist who comes to Israel into a lover of Israel.

We know from years of experience that what people know about Israel before arriving and afterward, it is not the same. The most special thing about our program is the combination of training in the historic places in Jerusalem - the Old City, Masada in the Judean Desert over the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee with all the stories of Jesus and the Galilee.

We know how to connect the people to the fascinating places and the content that is taught and create a perfect program that creates experiences for all participants.

You can find important details about the trip and details that will help you make a decision. Of course, if there are other questions and issues you would like to know before you register, I am here to help and assist.

Hope to see you with us this year.

Krav Maga Camp Israel takes place in three different locations: Jerusalem and the Desert, The North, and Tel Aviv. Over the week, you will be staying over the week at lovely hotels (3-4 star). The program is extremely intense in terms of the planned schedule and if anyone is interested in spending more time at a certain location, he should plan on arriving earlier or staying afterward.

The Old City of Jerusalem

Visiting all quarters of the Old City including sightseeing from the rooftops and the Western Wall, you will train in Krav Maga near the wall. You will visit the ancient market and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (The burial site of Jesus Christ)

The Israeli Knesset (parliament): The camp visits the Israeli Knesset and parliament building including the beautiful rose gardens, where you will practice Krav Maga with the beauty of Jerusalem as the background.

The Yad Vashem Museum: An internationally acclaimed memorial museum for the Holocaust, Yad Vashem is located in the Jerusalem Mountains. The museum is a memorial center for the Jewish people, before and during the Holocaust, commemorating the lives of many of its victims and educating on its history.

Givat ha Tahmoshet (Ammunition hill): The name of this site, a former Jordanian military post where a famous battle took place in the Six Day War. You will visit this landmark, watch a documentary film and later have a Krav Maga training there.

Metzada and the Dead Sea

What can you say about the exquisite Metzada? Climb up the snake trail all the way to the top to watch the sunrise. Later you will practice Krav Maga surrounded by this spectacular view with the desert and the Dead Sea spread out before you.

Tel Aviv

With one of the hippest urban nightlife, Tel Aviv is on the itinerary. Including a visit to the famous Jaffa Flea Market and a Krav Maga training session on the beach or at the Yarkon Park.

Old Jaffa: with a beautiful port dating back to biblical times, Jaffa played a role throughout history from the time of the Roman Empire to the Ottoman Empire. You'll look forward to a sunset stroll among the historical landmarks and the old city streets.

Golan Height's and the Hermon Mountain

Visiting the magical landscapes of the North, you will sleep on the shores of the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee, travel all over, train on a sleeping volcano and even take in the overviews of Syria. In the Summer, rafting on the Jordan River is also part of the trip.

A visit to a shooting range

Thanks to Amit Porat's close ties with top army officials, you will visit an Israeli gun shooting range where you will get training from the best gun range trainers in the country.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). The distance between Ben-Gurion Airport and Jerusalem is about 35 kilometers and takes about half an hour. There are many ways to get there: bus, taxi or train. The cheapest way is by train (less than 20 minutes) and then a taxi from the station to the hotel (5 minutes).

The last two days, you will stay in Tel Aviv. The hotel in Tel Aviv is called Prima City. It has an amazing beachfront location. The journey from it to the airport is easy:

  • Bus: this is a cumbersome option and really not recommended
  • Taxi for the train and from there to the station - a convenient option (about an hour of the combined trip)
  • Direct taxi: the most convenient and efficient way, the hotel will call you a taxi and the cost is about 160 shekels (less than 40 EUR). Travel time will be less than half an hour.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
