Kodokan Judo Institute - The birthplace of Judo

Kodokan Judo or kodokan is the birthplace of Judo. Established by Prof. Jigoro Kano since 1882, it is one of the oldest and considered the mother of all judo schools all around.

<strong>Training classes at Kodokan</strong>

A month-long or more judo training course at Kodokan Institute is divided into two classes; Futsu-ka or beginners class 1 that lasts 3 months for novices and Tokushu-ka or beginners class 2 that lasts 9 months for those who already completed the Futsu-ka.

<strong>Training days</strong>

Classes at the Jodokan Judo Institute are held from Monday to Saturday. Kodokan Institute is closed during Sundays and national holidays.
