Kauai Beach Resort is a postcard-looking paradise on the beach with swaying palm trees and clear blue water. This quaint plantation-style resort is situated on 25 green acres along Kauai's shore with four swimming pools, a full-service spa, and delicious dining. Rise each day to a beautiful sunrise and end it with an open bonfire. Situated in an idyllic setting, the charming guest rooms offer peace between your island adventures. All accommodations offer a private lanai (balcony) and Wi-Fi internet access.

The resort's restaurants offer local specialties like the fresh catch of the day, poke bowls, ono (Hawaiian barbecue), and more. You can dine under the Hawaiian sun by tiki torch or by candlelight in their on-site restaurants. Other amenities include the four pools (lagoon-style with waterfalls!), a full-service luxury spa, and a casual beach bar.


Led by Coach Beth Roberts, this holiday will combine daily workouts in paradise with authentic cultural experiences.


This all-level fitness holiday will incorporate a variety of workouts ranging from strength training to conditioning to restorative stretching. Coach Beth Roberts will start each day with a higher-intensity class targeting the whole body and invigorating the group for the day ahead. Then a second afternoon or early evening class will be on the more restorative side with an emphasis on core work and stretching with myofascial release.

Daily itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Hawaii. After checking in and getting settled, you will meet for introductions and a stretch class to move your body after a day of travel. In the evening, you will reconvene for a group dinner where you will continue to get to know each other.

Day 2

Wake up in paradise and enjoy a morning workout and freshly-prepared breakfast. You will follow with a nourishing breakfast and your first group activity, an invigorating hike. Upon your return, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the beach and pools. You will come back together for your second class in the early evening, a more restorative class after the day's adventure. Free night.

Day 3

Good morning from Kauai. Your morning class will wake you up and prepare you for your first free day. After breakfast, enjoy your time, however, you would like to sign up for an extra excursion, book a spa treatment, read a book by the pool, or dig your toes in the sandy beach. You will reconvene in the late afternoon to chat about your day and enjoy a second class with Coach Beth. Then you will continue on to a fresh, island-inspired group dinner (included) at the resort.

Day 4

This morning you will kick things off with an invigorating workout followed by a fueling breakfast. Then you will enjoy some free time before getting picked up in the late morning for an adventurous day of hiking and kayaking on the Wailua River to the sacred waterfalls. You will have an optional evening stretch and then a free night to explore, go for dinner where you choose, or have a relaxing night in the room.

Day 5

Wake up to a fresh coastal breeze and an invigorating workout with Beth. You will enjoy breakfast and free time to explore or relax at the resort (or sign up for an extra activity or excursion). Just before sunset, you will have a second class of the day and then enjoy a night out at a local restaurant for your final group dinner together.

Day 6

On your last morning, you will jump to it with a morning workout and breakfast. You will then pack your bags and head to the airport for goodbyes feeling strong and refreshed.

Included excursions

When in Kauai, one must explore. As part of the program, Ketanga Fitness Retreats is excited to share new places and experiences with you on land and water. They have got an exciting hike planned as well as an excursion combining another hike with kayaking along the Wailua River to visit the sacred waterfalls.
