Program

Coach Nikki is equal parts amazing teacher, fitness motivator and the life of the party who you want to spend your vacation with! On this retreat, she will lead two workouts per day that are broken down into high-intensity and technique-based formats. The high-intensity workouts include shadow boxing, mitt work, and heart-pumping body conditioning.

The evening sunset workouts will be more technique based, learning how to apply new boxing skills in a more realistic capacity along with core and strength work. Each day will be a progression in regards to what is learned, practiced and applied.

Work Train Fight

WTF is all about empowerment through boxing and fitness. There are many fitness modalities out there, however, none are able to train the mind, body, and character as boxing does. They enforce an A-hole Free policy; keeping a positive environment for everyone is a high priority. If they help enough kind-hearted people be stronger, then they will one day reach their goal, to change .0001% of the world (they are modest).

Welcome to Costa Rica! Guests will arrive at Liberia, Costa Rica's Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) and take a provided shuttle to the resort, the Tamarindo Diria. You'll check-in and then meet for introductions and a welcome stretch/workout depending on guests' arrivals. Tonight's included dinner will be at a local restaurant in town!

This morning, you will kick off your morning Boxing boot camp routine with an invigorating class followed by a delicious fueling breakfast. Then you'll get picked up for your first group adventure: zip-lining through the tree canopies. This adventure is one of the must-try activities in Costa Rica, and it is a truly unique and memorable way to see the country!

After this tour and some refreshing local fruit, you'll head back to the hotel for a free afternoon. You'll come together as a group in the early evening for a second workout overlooking sunset and a free night for dinner and optional salsa dancing.

Morning boxing and breakfast. Then you'll have free time to relax on the beach or visit the Saturday farmer's market before going on an afternoon adventure, a surf lesson! Surf pros will guide you through the movements and safety information to get out on the waves! All levels are welcome and encouraged to try it out.

After the lesson, you are welcome to stick around and practice and then the rest of the day is free! You'll come together again in the late afternoon for a second workout, a bit more restorative after a day of activity, and then you'll have a free evening to relax and dine.

Today is a free day to explore the surrounding town of Tamarindo, go on an adventure to another beach, or sign up for an additional activity like a massage, horseback riding or more surfing. In the afternoon, Nikki will lead you through another technical boxing class, showing you some more advanced movements. Then, you'll have a final group dinner at a delicious local restaurant.
