Dee Muay Thai invites you to join its Muay Thai Training program in Bali, the home to a thriving traditional culture, breathtaking landscapes, ancient temples, lush rain forests, and coconut-tree-lined beaches. Dee Muay Thai offers two types of accommodation: at the gym and at Dee Bungalow which is located behind the gym.
The gym also sells all gear you need to train, including: handwrap, gloves, shorts, mouth guards, shin guards, singlets, T-shirt, focus mitts, kicking pads, etc.
During the program, you will have one morning training session and one evening training session. This session includes: warm up, skipping, shadow boxing, pad work with the trainer, heavy bag work, sparring techniques, grappling and Wai Kru, stretching at the beginning, and cool down at the end of every session. You can, however, opts to train only once a day for a reduced price.
Muay Thai is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins.
Muay Thai is associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient. It became widespread internationally in the twentieth century, when practitioners defeated notable practitioners of other martial arts.
Muay Thai can be traced back to the 16th century, developed from the fighting style of the famous fighter Nai Khanomtom. Its ancestor is Muay Boran (or “ancient boxing”), which in the 1930s was formalized with rules and equipment influenced by Western boxing.
Dee Muay Thai Boxing Gym is located in Bali, Indonesia. Name of organization is derived from Thai language, dee [ดี] meaning ‘good’. Dee Muay Thai was founded in 2012 by Mr. Marcos Manurung. Following the success of his M-Muay Thai Boxing Camp (2008, Jakarta), Mr. Manurung and his partners expanded M-Muay Thai into two locations, Jakarta and Bali under new name Dee Muay Thai.
With over 14 years in fitness industry as a personal trainer, Muay Thai instructor and Fighter, Mr. Manurung's vision is to teach his students to maintain healthier and happier life style through vigorous physical training and proper nutritional advice. During the program, you are free to arrange your meal. Dee Muay Thai also provides Dee Warung (Restaurant) as well beside Gym area. You can enjoy many kind of menu or drink a healthy juice here. The restaurant is open from 9.00 am until 9.00 pm, Monday till Saturday. Additionally, you can try other options. Bali is really rich in its culinary. There are many restaurants that you can try there.
