Sample daily schedule from Monday to Saturday
- 08:30 - 10:00 Fitness and conditioning
- 17:00 - 18:30 Muay Thai for MMA
- 18:30 - 20:00 Grappling/BJJ
- 20:00 - 21:30 Muay Thai technique and fitness
The MMA program features pad work, sparring, and grappling techniques. The facility regularly holds seminars and has guest instructors to make sure your training is constantly varied and that you are exposed to a variety of styles!
Thai boxing, kickboxing, and boxing
A typical session consists of group runs, skipping, stretching, shadow boxing, technique drills, sparring, and more. The program focuses on making sure that you are able to deliver techniques with maximal power and speed whilst also ensuring that you understand the traditions and history of the sport.
Weight equipment and gym
Onsite, Combat360X has a small weights area equipped with a couple of sets of Kettlebells, an Olympic Barbell, and a bench press/squat rack that is open for use to camp guests.
Beginner and advanced training
All of the classes are suitable for beginners through to professional athletes. It is their goal to ensure that they help you find the right classes and to make sure that you get plenty of face-to-face time with the coaches to reach your goals.
MMA and Muay Thai fighting
The team has plenty of connections for Muay Thai and MMA fights in the region and they should have no problems finding fights for you.
Instructors
Mike Saint Claire
Mike is the founder of the gym and Combat 360X Cross Training Program. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and was a Junior Body Building champion in the UK, a NASM certified personal trainer, an OLF Extreme Kettlebell Instructor, TRX Certified Trainer, and a Crossfit CF-1 trainer. In addition, Mike is a Veteran Muay Thai fighter, an undefeated MMA fighter, and UGB MMA Light Heavyweight Champion, a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under professor Ray Elbe and a Gold Medalist in the 2008 Pan Asia Grappling Games as well as 2012 Mexico National Champion and more.
Location
La Paz is the perfect place for lovers of nature and of the outdoors! The weather in La Paz is hot most of the year, which makes it a perfect place to train regardless of the season. Summers are dry so the rain is not a threat for those who only want to spend the day between the sea and the sand, the average temperature is 34 degrees Celsius.
Walking along the La Paz boardwalk will give you one of the best views of the Baja California Peninsula, the same one that hosts a rich diversity of marine species such as the gray whale, which visits these waters every year.
The closest beach is located approximately 2.5 kilometers from the camp and is very easy to get to by taxi, bicycle, or walking.
Transportation
The camp can arrange transfers to and from the airport etc. for guests. The city is easy to get around and taxis are an inexpensive form of transportation, Combat 360x can also help guests with bicycle or car rentals.
