Shaolin Temple Kung Fu school China is the only Kung Fu training facility that is authorized by the International Liaison Department of Shaolin Temple to receive international students who want to learn Kung Fu in China Shaolin temple. The school was built with the support of the Shaolin temple Abbot, Shi Yong Xin. This is one of the most dedicated academies that will gladly train you into a warrior. The masters are dedicated and attentive, and you will not have to worry about making friends or feeling at home. Come and get the experience of training with authentic Shaolin monks and living inside the Shaolin temple.
Tourists who want to learn Shaolin Kung Fu, Chinese Mandarin, Chinese culture, massage and acupuncture but prefer to stay outside the school, can choose to stay at the nearby hotel. Meanwhile, students will be staying at rooms located within the school premises. Students will be sharing rooms with fellow students. Rooms can accommodate 2 to 3 students depending on the room sizes. Generally, there would be about 2 students per room. However, this depends on the number of students.
Usually during the summertime, there will be more students so short-term students might be required to share rooms. During these times the 2-3 students/room might apply. On the other hand, during autumn/fall and winter student population is lesser. During these times, the possibility for a student to own his/her own room without having to share it with someone is higher.

During medium term study, students will learn more in their training and classes. There will be history and theory study, punching and kicking with flexibility training, a more in-depth study of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, 5-14 Shaolin fist forms including paired practice, Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, meditation, an animal form option, Qin Na, and Chinese kick boxing with two person sparring and more advanced weapons such as spear, double spear, two-section staff, three-section staff, double sticks, and double canes (tonfa).
Medium term students also learn conversational Chinese, Mandarin, Buddhism, and calligraphy. More advanced levels of hard Qi Gong can be reached including breaking wooden staffs by your legs and arms with no injury.
Training at the China Shaolin Temple Kung Fu School is from Mondays to Fridays. The daily training schedule varies depending on the seasons. Below is a rough guide/outline of the daily training schedule in the school.
Shaolin temple Kung Fu school is situated at the beautiful Song mountain. In 2010, the historical architectural complex, including Shaolin Temple was also added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Shaolin Temple, which is historically said to be the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Kung Fu, provides students a perfect environment to study Chinese kung fu.
The school is located in a city of culture and history, which is Dengfeng. Dengfeng is right next to Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, central China. Zhengzhou is a modern, developed, yet environmentally friendly city where you will find that all the western goods and services you will need plus their Chinese counterparts are available and within reach. Zhengzhou is also one of the places where tourists / students can enjoy and study the ancient Chinese culture.
Students will be served healthy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. At the kung fu school, students get food made with Chinese recipes. This includes soybean milk, milk, porridge, and eggs and bread in the morning. During lunch and dinner, students eat Chinese meals like meat dishes, egg dishes, a single vegetable dish, rice and soup, and fried chips. The school also prepares local dumplings and noodles weekly. Seafood and bacon are also served throughout the week in Chinese style. Vegetarian option is available.
Students can learn traditional Shaolin Kung fu, Chinese kickboxing or Sanda, Chi Na, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, Xinyi, Baji, Wu Qin Xi, meditation, and Chinese martial arts at the school. Besides kung fu training, students can also have free optional cultural classes. Students can learn Chinese Mandarin, massage, acupuncture, calligraphy, and Buddhism. Each week, students can also enjoy the free Shaolin monks performing show at the Shaolin Temple.
