Welcome to one of the greatest adventures of Kung Fu you could ever have! If you need a time out to explore your potentials and train like a martial artist, you will find what you need. The school was built with the support of the Shaolin temple Abbot, Shi Yong Xin. Come and get the experience of training with authentic Shaolin monks and living near the Shaolin temple. You will also learn a lot of valuable lessons from the classes and training sessions, many things you will carry with you once you leave the academy.
Tourists who want to learn Shaolin Kung Fu but prefer to stay outside the school, can choose to stay at the nearby hotel. Meanwhile, students will be staying at rooms located within the school premises. Students will be sharing rooms with fellow students. Rooms can accommodate 2 to 3 students depending on the room sizes. Generally, there would be about 2 students per room. However, this depends on the number of students.
Usually during the summertime, there will be more students so short-term students might be required to share rooms. During these times the 2-3 students/room might apply. On the other hand, during autumn/fall and winter student population is lesser. During these times, the possibility for a student to own his/her own room without having to share it with someone is higher.

During short term study, students learn Shaolin Kung Fu history and theory, basic punching and kicking with flexibility training, basic Qi Gong and Tai Chi, 1-5 Shaolin fist forms, Ba Duan Jin,Yi Jin Jing, meditation, and Chinese kick boxing with two person sparring and 1 or 2 basic weapons such as the staff, whip, sword, or broadsword.
Additionally, all students have the option to train in hard Qi Gong, which involves conditioning areas of your body for fighting such as your hands. Students who study for 1-3 months and cultivate Qi Gong will be able to break a house brick in two with their bare hands.
Training at the China Shaolin Temple Kung Fu School is from Mondays to Fridays. The daily training schedule varies depending on the seasons. Below is a rough guide/outline of the daily training schedule in the school.
is a 32nd generation monk of Shaolin Temple. He received the true essence of Shaolin Kung Fu from Shi De Yang, the essence of Zen knowledge from the 30th generation of the Shaolin Temple Abbot Great Master Su Xi, and gained the essence of Shaolin Kung Fu theory from Great Master Shi De Qian, director of Shaolin martial arts books. He is highly skilled at various kinds of fist forms and weapon forms. He also practices many animal styles and internal kung fu, as well as Tai Chi (of Wudang school), Chi kung, Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, and meditation.
Master Shi Yan Shun is a 32nd generation monk of Shaolin Temple. He started to learn Kung Fu in Song mountain - at the original Shaolin temple - when he was young. He is 6th band in national martial arts and 7th band in Shaolin martial arts. He has been a Shaolin Kung Fu & Chinese kickboxing master since 2007. He excels in Shaolin combat, sanda (Chinese kick boxing), Shaolin weapons, Shaolin forms, Tai Zu Chang Chuan, Qi Xing Chuan, and Chi Kung.

Song Mountain Shaolin Kung Fu School China is located next to the original Shaolin temple on Song Mountain, in the city of Dengfeng in Henan province. Seafood and bacon are also served throughout the week in Chinese style. Vegetarian option is available.
Students can learn traditional Shaolin Kung fu, Chinese kickboxing or Sanda, Chi Na, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, Xinyi, Baji, Wu Qin Xi, Meditation, and Chinese martial arts at the school.
