Thai spar and clinch

To get the best results you have to put the time in. Thai sparring is a light and controlled spar that focuses completely on technique, focus and control, and it is something that is practiced daily at Camp Jansson. The Thai spar teaches you the intricacies of the art at a relaxed and comfortable pace. Speed and power and not utilized during Thai sparring. After your Thai sparring we move into clinching.

Mixed Martial Arts

Camp Janssons Mixed Martial Arts program is headed by the former UFC Lightweight Champion and current ONE FC contender; Jens Pulver. Coach Pulver is no stranger MMA or wrestling; he was an NJCAA All-American wrestler and wrestled for Boise State University as an amatuer. He was also the first UFC Lightweight Champion.

Boxing flow drills

We then move on to boxing flow drills. During this portion of the program you work on refining your technique in live drills. Camp Jansson is located within the Fort Magsaysay Military Reservation (FMMR) of the Philippines National Army (PNA). Set in the rich, beautiful, and tropical country of the Philippines; Camp Jansson is nestled in the center of Luzon inside the Province of Nueva Ecija.

Commonly known as the rice belt of the Philippines Nueva Ecija you will be exposed to a beautiful and natural country side that features a lush and green landscape as far as the eye can see.

This massive 35,000 hectares reservation reaches all the way to the Pacific Ocean, over the Sierra Madre Mountains, with 12 km of coastline. Camp Jansson shares its home with the PNAs special forces and airborne training facilities.

The camp grounds are completely encircled by a lush green jungle. The beautiful landscape creates a quiet, clean and safe environment; perfect for your stay. The natural setting creates the perfect environment for you to: learn martial arts, enjoy fun and excitement, and completely relax.
