I Gede Arya Adiwiguna, or as people call him, Pak Adi, developed his love of yoga at just 13 years old and has been improving on his practice over the last 25 years. He is a student of Ki Nantra, the Great Master Yogi of the Seruling Dewata Organization located on Mount Batukaru. After working for 20 years on cruise ships, Adi has returned to his home village of Sesandan, a 100% Balinese-Hindu farming village, with the intention of preserving and passing on the ancient traditions of Balinese yoga and the martial arts practice Silat.

Bali Lush is such an amazing place. My sister and I spent 4 days there and were very sad to leave.
We stayed in a gorgeous traditional teak building that we had all to ourselves (duck cottage) equiped with an outdoor bathroom and all the modern comforts you need - including universal PowerPoints. The view of the rice paddies was very beautiful and we spent our last day reading by the heart-shaped pool (which also has a great view).
The hosts David and Cameron were fantastic. They ensured that we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and Bali in general. We were heading to Canggu after our stay and they provided us with heaps of recommendations.
We missed a few yoga sessions and did a cooking class instead which I highly recommend! We ate all our meals at Bali Lush and I couldn’t fault any of them. The staff are fantastic chefs and very accommodating.
The motorbike tour of the area was heaps of fun too.
I’m not usually one to stay at the same place twice, but I will be coming back to Bali Lush again and again. Next time I’ll bring my fiancé and stay for longer.
Thanks David and Cameron for such a great experience.

"Nothing short of perfect"
The location of Bali Lush is heaven on earth -- surrounded by the greenery and lushness of Bali. The staff were wonderful, and though we did not get to meet Camron and David, it was very easy to communicate and we have only got great things to say about the team at Bali Lush. It was kept very clean, food was amazing, a great introduction to Indonesian food for us, even fellow Asians. Getting to see the village during our morning walk with Agus and the daily scooter rides to the yoga classes gave us a real view of the little village that resides surrounding the accommodation. Eka, Ilu & Koma were the nicest and really made us feel at home. If 11/10 was a rating, that is where Bali Lush would belong.

"Amazing place to learn Balinese Yoga"
I loved doing yoga in the bale among the rice paddy fields of Tabanan. Beautiful breeze, excellent instructors with Adi & Mrs. Krishna :) She taught me to do a headstand when I never ever thought I could! Wonderful instructors who taught me about the history of Balinese yoga and the difference between this and modern styles of yoga. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's unforgettable.

"Experience of a lifetime"
The bali lush resort and its surroundings are breathe taking. You could spend weeks just gazing at the perfect rice terraces and extraordinary wildlife. But it was undoubtedly the welcome and hospitality I received from David and camron that made my trip an experience. They are truly beautiful people.
