Brazilian Jiu Jitsu promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training can be used for sport grappling tournaments and mixed martial arts competition or self-defense. Sparring and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition, in relation to progress and ascension through its ranking system.
Since its inception in 1882, its parent art of judo was separated from older systems of Japanese Jujutsu by an important difference that was passed on to Brazilian jiu-jitsu: it is not solely a martial art, it is also a sport; a method for promoting physical fitness and building character in young people; and, ultimately, a way of life.
Muay Thai or Thai boxing is a form of hard martial arts mainly practiced in Thailand. Muay Thai has a long history in Thailand, and it is the countrys national sport. It is an ancient martial art and arguably one of the kingdoms most striking national icons. Muay Thai is referred to as The Science of Eight Limbs, as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art.
Overflowing with color and ceremony, as well as exhilarating moments of clenched-teeth action, the best matches serve up a blend of such skill and tenacity that one is tempted to view the spectacle as emblematic of Thailands centuries-old devotion to independence in a region where most other countries fell under European colonial yoke.
Ko Tao, literally meaning Turtle Island is located in Southern Thailand on the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand. The island is well known for scuba diving and snorkeling, as well as hiking, rock climbing, and bouldering.
The most popular place for tourists is Sairee on the west coast, which has a white sandy beach of 1.7 km interrupted only by a few huge boulders and a number of medium budget resorts and restaurants. A great many granite boulders, both in the forests and on the beaches of Koh Tao, attract a growing number of climbers.
Koh Tao has become increasingly popular especially with the mid-20s backpacker crowd in search of relatively inexpensive scuba diving certification. Many of the visitors who first visited the island over ten years ago are now returning with their families.
Food is included in price. Participants will be served 3 healthy fresh meals per day on site that provide a balanced diet and energy needed for training.

Transfer from and to Koh Samui Airport (USM), Chumphon Airport (CJM) or Surat Thani (URT) on request. Transfer is included in the price.
If you arrive via Bangkok or Phuket, it is recommended to take a connecting flight to one of the above three airports because transfer by land would be long and tough.
